 “I basically had a rib removed due to [cheer complications]. I made up a cool story about it. I told my physical therapist that I got into an Irish Mob in New York. They tried to slit my throat. So now I’m in the witness protection program. I think it’s good to joke around about stuff like that. When something happens to you, you can either be sad about it or make the best out of it. Yeah, I get sad a lot, but then also, I have this really cool story to tell and I can make jokes about it. Life’s too short, y’know, make the best of it.“
