Getting to know Rocking’ Rangers: Evelyn Martinez

Q. What do you think your purpose is here at Chisholm?

A. My purpose here is to show kindness and try to make everybody feel welcomed.

Q. What are your plans after high school?

A. I want to study sports management at Dallas Baptist then hopefully start a non-profit.

Q. What are your hobbies?

A. I’m in sports like wrestling and volleyball, and I’m also in PALS. I also enjoy reading and making art.

Q. How do you feel about being Rockin’ It Ranger?

A. I am honored. I feel like I’m being seen and that I proved my goals. I’m happy my teachers are seeing that.

Q. Why do you think you were nominated?

A. I always get my work done, and I’m trust worthy. I also have good communication skills.

Q. What is your biggest fear?

A. My biggest fear is losing a loved one because I’m really close to my family.

Q. Is there anything you want to see more of?

A. I want to see more openminded people.

Q. What motivates you to stay positive?

A. I don’t like being negative. Why not be positive and want to make somebody’s day?
