How about trying a simple dessert recipe for one of your Thanksgiving gatherings? These candy turkeys are made with only a few ingredients, are simple enough for kids to help create, and they are quite the crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

-8 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (full size)

-8 Reese’s Mini’s Peanut Butter Cups

-48 Reese’s Pieces

-16 candy eyes

-1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps

1. Unwrap all the candy and set aside.

2. Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heat, and stir until smooth.

3. Put the melted chocolate into a plastic bag and cut the corner off.

4. Squeeze the chocolate onto the bottom of one Reese’s Mini Cup and stick it on top one larger Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup.

5. Using the chocolate as glue, stick on two candy eyes to the Reese’s Mini Cup.

6. Put an orange Reese’s Piece between the turkey’s eyes to serve as the wattle.

7. Now glue one orange and one yellow Reese’s Piece to the larger Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup .
