  1. iZombie

Liv Moore is a recently turned zombie determined to pass as human despite her pale appearance and newly lifeless demeanor. Liv takes a new job at the coroner’s office where she can secretly snack on the brains of corpses delivered there. After discovering that she absorbs the memories of those she feeds on, she finds her new purpose by posing as a psychic and working with a detective to help solve their murders. 

Amazing show if you love zombies and adventure. Liv is a funny character that will have you on the edge of your seat one moment but laughing your butt off the next. 

  1. Arrow

After presumably dying billionaire Oliver Queen returns home to Starling City after five years stranded on a remote island. When he returns, his family thinks he is the same partying, carefree man he was before he left. But at night Oliver uses his secret. He is a a vigilante out to right societal wrongs and transform the city back to its excellence. 

Heavy packed action and adventure mean you’ll never want to take your eyes off the screen. A great show for the DC fans out there. 

 

  1. Riverdale

In this new take on the classic Archie comics, Archie and his friends explore their town Riverdale and unveil their town’s dark secrets and solve its mysteries. 

Perfect teen drama with tons of romance and mystery. 

 

  1. Grey’s Anatomy

A medical drama about a group of doctors at a hospital in Seattle starting with a group that begins as interns. The main doctor, the show’s namesake Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. She struggles to keep and make relationships with her colleagues and build her career and life.  

The best show for inspiring doctors. The romance is hot and steamy and you guys will wish you were with McDreamy. 

 

 

  1. The Walking Dead

Based on the comic book, this drama shows life in the months following a zombie apocalypse. Led by a police officer Rick Grimes, his family and a group of other survivors are always on the move in search of a safe and secure home. But the need to stay alive sends many in the group into the hands of human cruelty, and Rick discovers that the fear of survivors can be deadlier than the zombies. 

Amazing horror show, with just the right drama and zombies. 

  1. The Flash-

Barry Allen’s life was altered entirely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Now a CSI, his drive to learn the truth about his mother’s death leads him to follow up on new scientific advancement’s and legends. When a particle accelerator causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakens from a coma nine months later with the power of super speed. When he finds out that others who have gained powers like his use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting his city while still trying to figure out his mother’s murder. 

You’ll love The Flash actor Grant Gustin. He’s amazing at his job. He plays Barry Allen like no one else plus he’s really cute. 

  1. Supernatural- 

Two Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, were raised by their father to hunt and kill all things that go “bump in the night” after their mother was murdered by an evil supernatural being when the boys were young. Years later after their father goes missing, the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same devil that killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor, are determined to finish the crusade their father started. 

You’ll watch these boys grow up and become amazing evil hunters. You’ll fall in love with these brothers and want to laugh when they laugh, cry when they cry and fall in love like they do. You’ll end up finding yourself with new people to call your family. 

 

  1. Sherlock-

In the new version of the classic Sherlock Holmes detective series, Dr. John Watson is a war vet just home. He meets the brilliant but abnormal Holmes, who serves as a consultant to Scotland Yard when he advertises for a roommate. When Watson moves into the Baker Street apartment, they are embroiled in mysteries. 

I haven’t watched this show yet, but everyone’s saying it’s the show to watch for some good mystery.  

       9. The 100-

When a nuclear war destroys life on Earth, the only survivors are those on the 12 international space stations in orbit at the time. A couple generations later, the survivors living on a space ark of linked stations see their resources dwindle, and they face drastic measures established to ensure humanity’s future. Looking for an answer, the ark’s leaders send 100 teen prisoners back to earth to test its habitability. Having grown up in space, the prisoners find the planet fascinating and terrifying, but with the fate of their friends and families at risk, they must do the best to help them. 

The book series was amazing, but I can honestly say the show is ten times better, perfect for the young and old. 

 

  1. Stranger Things-

This Netflix original drama is about Joyce Byers who lives in a tiny Indiana town in 1983. When Joyce’s 12-year-old son, Will, goes missing, she starts an investigation into his disappearance with her son’s friends and local authorities. As they search for answers, they reveal a series of mysteries involving secret government experiments, supernatural forces and a very unusual girl. 

Great show. Set in the 1980’s, you’ll love the mysteries and the suspense; this show leaves you on the edge of your seat.
